I checked in 07/11/2017 at 10:45 P.M. and the front desk person was very nice I believe her name was Marcy. When I eventually used the bathroom it was filthy hair in tub and on walls it looked as if the rag that the floor was wiped with was used immediately afterward on toilet and walls. I spoke with the manager and was offered a 50% discount which I accepted and I went and spoke with my wife who was at breakfast and there was a piece of hair fried into her bacon she wanted to speak to hotel manager but left conversation with it being unresolved so she then spoke to the general manager who gave us an additional night on him which was great ( and our room was changed of course ) so we where both happy and proceeded with our day at sesame place but we received a call and the 50% was retracted I didn't think it a big deal until I got back to hotel several hours later and the television wasn't working correctly and someone came to have a look at it but couldn't fix and when I went to inquire further I learned that my room had been blackballed and the staff ( in my opinion ) not to help us so we didn't have a remote and none was ever brought up because the staff was told not to help us and I am posting this publicly because this type of thing needs to stop and people ( consumer's) need to know about how this particular company operates I think that the full refund should have been given and the general manager should have done everything possible to make his guest happy and comfortable but he did the complete opposite I wish I could give this place a negative 5 star because I would very disappointed with the whole stay
This place is gross. I stayed here for three nights while on a business trip. First of all the room was disgusting. I had booked an exuitive suite and upon opening the door I discovered it was probably used more as a party suite. The room smelled of stale pot. The carpet was sticky an had a lot of little white quarter-sized stains and glitter ground in. The walls are all scuffed and paint in the bathroom is peeling. The sofa has a huge mystery stain on the top of the cushion. The bar top had an ink stain from a leaky pen. To top it off the cable was out the entire time I was there. Never again.
Woke up to go to work and there was no running water in my room. Called front desk and they told me they can switch my room. Unfortunately I didn't have time to play musical rooms. I had to leave for work.
I spent one night here on a business trip, and this Crowne Plaza has redeemed the brand for me after some mediocre experiences in other states. Very well laid out room, with a desk and adjustable chair meant for actual work rather than decoration. Plenty of outlets and USB charging ports. Professional, helpful staff, including the housekeeping and maintenance workers when I needed help. Two restaurants downstairs; I only tried the pub for a drink, but they have a good beer list. Right off Rt 1/PA turnpike on Street Rd makes the location hard to beat.
The room was nice & cozy but the thermostat didn't work. The maintenance/engineering department was very polite & timely. Front desk staff as well BUT the housekeeping staff were very rude & unprofessional. They were banging on my door like a SWAT team even though we had an extended stay. After we informed then of the extended stay, they came back 10 minutes later banging again. Utterly ridiculous! Also, the swimming pool area looked abysmal. Like it was under construction or something.
